Fantastic $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy

After a short availability back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned for a limited time available until Dec. 2. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the entire collection is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. And there are three different bundles available here.

The Main Attraction

The big draw is definitely permanent access to the CC3+ software, a professional-grade mapping application which enables users to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Package Levels

Entry Level

The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, yet it provides fresh fantasy design elements for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-item bundle for at least $15 is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the annual collection from the company's ongoing subscription program featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page suitable for novices and experts, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.

Every volume of Cartographer's Annual are included here, alongside a slew of additional tools and content enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, dungeons, urban centers, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection is so worth it, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously an even better deal for cartography beginners considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though you can redeem the deal on any platform, the applications only function on Windows.

Charitable Component

Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale supports charitable organizations. For this one, the beneficiary is Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally through education, health care, and emergency relief.
