AC Shadows Reveals Surprising Attack on Titan Event for Thanksgiving

In a bizarre partnership that challenges traditional expectations, Ubisoft has revealed an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including free extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Uncovered

According to the authorized statement, "A strange encounter leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of prohibited ceremonies and terrifying changes reverberate through the obscurity." The storyline introduces a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who charges the pair with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a hidden sect.

The adventure concentrates on "strange trials and a monstrous foe" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Changes

The trailer showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview concludes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, presumably the captive, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Extra Content

Players who successfully complete the adventure will acquire an exclusive katana in addition to several artifacts concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
